She’s the popular girl but what does that mean exactly? The jocks, the cheerleaders, the lab geeks, the nerds, every single person gets nervous. Being popular doesn’t exclude you from this, in fact being popular probably means you have more pressure on your plate. The pressure to look good, to feel good, to do good in school.

It can be quite overwhelming. The secret technique of talking to anyone popular then is to talk to them like they’re a normal person. When people start to praise you, you begin to take on the role of being praised.

You start to feel likeyou have an advantage over others whether its looks, smarts or swag. But if you strip away that “power” from the person and talk to them like you would anyone else, they’ll be more inclined to listen to you because they’re not used to people talking to them like that. Think about it, a guy going up to a girl and saying “Hey uh, you’re just like really beautiful and popular.

Would you ever consider going out with a guy like me? I mean you don’t have to if you don’t want to” adds to this popularity hierarchy that’s purely created, it doesn’t really exist. But how do I get over my nervousness when talking to her, she’s just so beautiful? This whole concept of leagues and girls being out of your league totally falls flat when you choose to push past the whole idea.

An example of this would be to walk right up to the popular girl, right past all of her popular friends, look her dead in the eyes and say”what’s up”. It sounds really intimidating I know but think about what she’s gonna feel. No guy ever does that to her, ever. And by standing out from the rest of the guys who just casually look at her whenever they can, she’s gonna pay attention to you.
